Prince Bernhard Of Lippe-Biesterfeld (June 29, 1911 – December 1, 2004) was a prominent member of the House of Lippe who played a significant role in both Dutch and international affairs. Prince Bernhard’s early years were shaped by his family background as part of the House of Lippe-Biesterfeld. His father was Prince Bernhard Of Lippe, and he had a brother named Prince Aschwin Of Lippe-Biesterfeld. Educated at prestigious institutions such as the University of Lausanne and Frederick William University Berlin, Bernhard’s formative experiences laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.

His career took off with a strong military background in Germany before shifting to become an influential figure in the Dutch royal family upon marrying Queen Juliana in 1936.
