French actor Jean Rochefort won César Awards for best supporting actor in The Clockmaker 1974 and best actor for Le Crabe-Tambour 1977. Born in Paris in 1930, he starred in comedies like The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe 1972 and worked with directors Philippe de Broca and Patrice Leconte. He died in Paris in 2017.
