Graham Chapman co-founded Monty Python and played King Arthur in Monty Python and the Holy Grail 1975 and Brian Cohen in Life of Brian 1979. He was an openly gay writer and actor who trained as a doctor. Chapman died of spinal and throat cancer in 1989 at age 48.
