Val Kilmer entered Juilliard's drama program at age 21, its youngest student at the time. He made his film debut in the 1984 spoof Top Secret! He played Iceman in Top Gun 1986. His performance as Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone's The Doors 1991 established him as a dramatic actor. He played Batman in Batman Forever 1995 and Doc Holliday in Tombstone 1993, earning acclaim for the latter. Kilmer died in 2025 at age 65 from pneumonia.
