Lea Michele, born Lea Michele Sarfati in the Bronx in 1986, is an actor and soundtrack artist who originated the role of Rachel Berry on Glee 2009. She made her Broadway debut at age eight in Les Misérables and later originated the role of Wendla in Spring Awakening. Michele received a Satellite Award for Best Actress and multiple Teen Choice Awards. She has also starred in Scream Queens and was named in Time 100 most influential people in 2010.
