In 1973, he became a regular on Dean Martin’s Celebrity Roasts, where he roasted stars like Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra. He had his own TV series CPO Sharkey 1976-1978. After slowing down, he made a comeback as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in Toy Story 1995 and Toy Story 2 1999. He also guest-hosted The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and accidentally broke Carson’s cigarette box.
