Jet Li

At age 11, Jet Li won his first of five Chinese national wushu championships. By 19, he had starred in Shaolin Temple 1982, igniting a martial arts film boom. He moved to Hong Kong and became a top star, later crossing over to Hollywood with roles in Lethal Weapon 4 and Hero. Li also survived the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and founded the One Foundation charity.
