Khyentse Norbu
Khyentse Norbu, also known as Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, is a Bhutanese Buddhist lama and filmmaker. His debut film The Cup 1999 premiered at Cannes Director's Fortnight and won four international awards, including a FIPRESCI award at Busan and an audience award at Toronto. He directed Travellers & Magicians 2003, the first feature film shot in Bhutan, and Vara: A Blessing 2013 which won Best Feature at Tribeca Online. Norbu oversees global Buddhist organizations and wrote the best-selling book What Makes You Not a Buddhist.
