Enzo Ferrari
Italy
Enzo Ferrari won his greatest victory at the 1924 Coppa Acerbo with an Alfa Romeo R.L. He founded Scuderia Ferrari in 1929 and built the first car bearing his name in 1947. Ferrari's F1 team dominated the early 1950s, and the company produced the Enzo Ferrari supercar in 2003. After his son Dino died in 1956, he lived and worked at his factory, wearing sunglasses in his honor until his own death in 1988 at age 90.
