Caryl Phillips
Caryl Phillips wrote the screenplay for The Mystic Masseur 2001 and produced The Final Passage 1996 and Playing Away 1987. Born in St. Kitts on 13 March 1958, he also won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize and a Guggenheim Fellowship. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, Phillips taught at Barnard College and now serves as Professor of English at Yale University.
