Rafael Trujillo
Rafael Trujillo, dictator of the Dominican Republic from 1930 to 1961, was assassinated on May 30, 1961. He joined the National Guard in 1918, seized power in 1931, and ordered the 1937 massacre of over 20,000 Haitians. Trujillo also had an uncredited cameo in Casablanca 1943.
