Prince Albert of Monaco
Prince Albert II of Monaco ascended the throne in 2005 as the 32nd sovereign prince, son of actress Grace Kelly. He competed in five Winter Olympics as a bobsledder from 1988 to 2002. After earning a master's degree from Amherst College in 1981, he served in the French Navy and worked at Morgan Guaranty Trust and Moët & Chandon before returning to palace duties. As prince, he modernized Monaco's financial sector and advocated for environmental protection.
