Melania Trump, born Melanija Knavs on April 26, 1970 in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, worked as a model before becoming First Lady of the United States in 2017. She married businessman Donald Trump in 2005 and gave birth to their son Barron in 2006. She is the first naturalized US citizen to serve as First Lady and the second foreign-born after Louisa Adams.
