Billionaire casino mogul Steve Wynn purchased Le Reve, a portrait of Picasso’s mistress Marie-Therese Walter, for $48 million in 1997. In 2006, Wynn accidentally put his elbow through it, postponing its sale; the painting eventually sold to Steve Cohen in 2013 for $155 million.
