Peter Cushing

Peter Cushing made his film debut in The Man in the Iron Mask 1939 and later played Dr. Frankenstein in The Curse of Frankenstein 1957 and Dr. Van Helsing in Horror of Dracula 1958 for Hammer Films. He also played Grand Moff Tarkin in Star Wars 1977. Cushing was awarded an OBE in 1989 and died of prostate cancer in 1994.
