Matt Damon won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 1998 for Good Will Hunting, which he co-wrote with childhood friend Ben Affleck. He starred as Jason Bourne in the Bourne film franchise and played Linus Caldwell in the Ocean's trilogy. Damon attended Harvard University but dropped out 12 credits short to pursue acting. He has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and is a philanthropist co-founding H20 Africa.
