Janet Jackson is the only woman in Rock & Roll history to score five consecutive #1 studio albums: Control, Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation, Janet, The Velvet Rope, and All For You. She started acting as a child on Good Times and Diff'rent Strokes, then hit big with her third album Control in 1986. The Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show incident in 2004 hurt her career, but she has sold over 100 million records worldwide.
