Born Elizabeth Jongkind in Paramaribo, Suriname on May 25, 1974, Bettina moved with her family to Arnhem, Netherlands when she was two years old. The family became Dutch citizens, and she grew up fluent in Dutch, English, French, and German. Her upbringing in a former Dutch colony gave her multicultural fluency that served her international career.

Bettina’s early roles included a small part as Servante #1 in the 1997 film Tatiana. Her breakthrough came in 1999 when she played a CIA Agent in The Uranus Experiment, a science fiction adult film that spawned two sequels later that year. The trilogy became her most recognized work. In 2004, she appeared in Cleopatra II: the Legend of Eros as Harrison’s lover, adding to her filmography.
