Gilbert Gottfried began stand-up at age 15 in New York City, became a cast member on Saturday Night Live in 1980, and later voiced Iago in Disney's Aladdin 1992. He also starred in the Problem Child films and was fired from his role as the AFLAC duck in 2011 after controversial tweets. He died on April 12, 2022 at age 67 from recurrent ventricular tachycardia due to myotonic dystrophy type II.
