Boris Vian

Boris Vian died of a heart attack in 1959 during a preview of J'irai cracher sur vos tombes, a film adaptation of his novel he had disowned. The French writer, actor, and jazz trumpeter wrote novels under the pseudonym Vernon Sullivan and acted in The Hunchback of Notre Dame 1956 and Dangerous Love Affairs 1959. He also worked as an engineer and record producer.
